Participants are strongly encouraged to come as a team or at least with another change team member (i.e project team formed to manage a particular organisational change initiative which ideally should include the OD practitioner).
Registered participants will be required to do some pre-work, and should be prepared to have a phone or email discussion with the trainer, 2 to 3 weeks before the programme.
Lunch and tea break will be provided.

You are an OD practitioner or a member of a change project team involved in implementing change management efforts in your organisation.
Programme Overview
Faced with a rapidly changing environment and growing citizen expectations, organisations in the Public Service are increasingly required to respond by implementing change initiatives which can range from the introduction of new work processes or systems to organisational transformation. While some of these initiatives have found success, there are likely many others that have not. This can be attributed to the lack of attention paid to securing acceptance of change by affected stakeholders.
What can we do as OD practitioners to improve the effectiveness of the change initiatives? How should we structure the management of these initiatives for success? What systematic approaches can we adopt to manage the human side of change? What can we do to foster the acceptance of change by the affected stakeholders?
Programme Methodology: This 3-day programme is designed to be practice-oriented and includes a simulation experience that facilitates learning transfer. You should come with your team member(s) as an intact change team and bring with you a real change management project that you are currently working on.
This will allow you to apply Prosci’s research-based Change Management Methodology. The Prosci® change management methodology has been developed through research and extensive benchmarking of change management practices worldwide.
The
methodology involves three steps: preparing for change, managing change and
reinforcing change – all of which are scalable and flexible components that you
can tailor and apply to your specific organisational needs.

- 17th to 19th September 2024
- 26th to 28th November 2024
- 14th to 16th January 2025
