Programme Fees and Grants
PSD will subsidise $364.00 of the total programme fee before GST. The grant is valid from 01 Apr 2025 to 31 Mar 2026. Please note that you need to complete the programme in order to qualify for the grant.
Programme Overview
Ever wondered why there is a need to relook and improve on processes? Why bother with fixing what is not broken?

In this one-day workshop, Support Officers will be given the opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation of the practicality and relevance of Process Improvement in their daily lives and at work. Officers will also learn about the two most prevalent process improvement methods and their application, namely Lean Management and Agile.

Robert Oh

An 38 years IT industry veteran in the areas of operations, product development and project management, Robert has 20 years of experience as a Lean/Lean Six Sigma (LSS) consultant, trainer and coach. He also works with clients to develop new processes, products and services using Agile. He has conducted more than 500 workshops, trained thousands of leaders, managers, and employees, to support continuous improvement, by adopting Lean/LSS ways of working. He is co-author of the book Strategic Lean Service. Robert was a leader in Invensys, Singapore Network Services and National Computer Board. In Invensys he was VP of a division in Asia Pacific and the global project manager of a worldwide lean deployment in this Division.

Heng Cho Hiong

Cho has 30 years of Lean/Lean Six Sigma (LSS), consulting, project management and industry experience including 12 years in LSS training and coaching. Formerly the LSS practice and project management office Lead of Microsoft Asia Operations, Cho has conduct 60+ LSS & Agile training/workshops and coached hundreds of LSS practitioners. He is currently a Lean and Process Improvement trainer at CSC and was the course developer and associate faculty of the LSS course at SUSS. Cho is a certified LSS Black Belt and was a manager at Microsoft, Accenture, General Electric and Singapore Technologies. ??
