This is a two-part programme consisting of 1 day on practical skilling in coaching, and a subsequent 1 day where you will deepen your understanding of mindsets, values and emotions important to coaching, complemented with a small group coaching supervision session. In between the two-part programme, there is a 4-week period where you will practise coaching at work and get the opportunity to peer coach your programme mate.
For the pre-programme work, you will need to complete key readings to raise your awareness of coaching fundamentals and your leadership style. You also need to complete your reflections on your challenges and development as a manager. These developmental issues will form the basis for the coaching practice sessions throughout the workshop.
