Who Should Attend:
You are an alumnus of the HR Managers Programme (HRMP) or HR Foundation Programme (HRFP) with at least 3 years of experience in HR, who intends to pursue the IHRP-CP certification.
Programme Overview
Established as an HR Professional body, the Institute of Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) sets the benchmark for the competencies and behaviours of future-ready HR professionals through the national HR certification framework. The IHRP certification is thus a practitioner’s certification and a validation of a practitioner’s HR experience. This certification can complement and validate HR professionals within the Public Service with competencies and capabilities that define a good HR professional. The certification is now extended to the alumni of HRMP before 2018 and alumni of HRFP with at least 3 years of HR experience. Through CSC, HRMP alumni would not need to complete the experience assessment, typically required of private candidates of IHRP.
(Do note: HRFP Alumni would still be required to complete the experience assessment)
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the intent of IHRP and how it dovetails with HR competencies
- Understand the structure of the IHRP certification papers A and B and be familiar with the possible questions from both papers
