Programme Overview
Partnership and Engagement (PE) 101 is a foundation programme designed to develop officers’ instincts and capabilities to engage, partner and empower stakeholders. Officers will build up common PE competencies by learning the fundamentals of – sensing and identifying PE opportunities, conducting fruitful engagement sessions, establishing and cultivating relationships, as well as understanding and analysing data and insights.
Officers will also develop new skills and greater self-awareness to enhance the ways they engage and partner stakeholders meaningfully towards shared outcomes. At the end of the course, officers will be invited to join the PE community of practice to collaborate, share information and further hone their skills with PE practitioners. .

Prakash Nair
Prakash Nair is a facilitator, trainer and consultant, with over 20 years' experience of working with organisations & management teams, facilitating workshops, seminars and sessions, primarily in the areas of staff, public & stakeholder engagement, team building, team learning and team and organisational development. He is passionate about helping people and organisations do better and serve better. Since 2012, starting with him volunteering at Our Singapore Conversation (OSC), Prakash has been Lead Facilitator/Project Lead at numerous public engagement projects for various public & people sector agencies, like MOH, NEA, LTA, MINDEF & EDB. Extending from this work, he was appointed as a Member of the Partnerships & Engagement Experts’ Panel, under MCCY, consulting with various agencies from the Public Service on their citizen & stakeholder engagement projects.
Lyn Wong
Lyn is passionate about organisational learning and development. She brings with her multi-disciplinary expertise in organizational development, leadership development and executive coaching, team development and team coaching, change management, culture building, employee/stakeholder engagement, strategic meeting facilitation, and group process facilitation. Lyn's career spans 27 years, with 16 years across public, private and social service sectors and 13 years in private practice. She has worked with clients across various industries in the private, public and social service sectors, supporting them in aligning their visions with strategic directions, enhance team collaboration and performance, and build leadership capacity and capability to thrive in a fast-changing world. Clients describe her as engaging, supportive yet not afraid to challenge, patient and sincere. They are appreciative of her style in engaging participants, harnessing voices of participants, and creating a safe and reflective environment for learning. Lyn is an associate facilitator with the Singapore Civil Service College and has been involved in a number of public engagement projects for various public sector agencies since 2014.

Jared Poon
Jared Poon runs Counter-Fictional, which aims to help individuals, teams, and organizations tell healthier stories about ourselves and one another, using games and innovative workshops to support robust thinking for better policy and engagement. Previously, he spent a decade in the Public Service, with stints in the Prime Minister's Office (Strategy Group) and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, working on areas including strategic foresight, futures thinking, policy gaming, capability development, and citizen engagement. He is proud to have been part of the teams who developed and designed the last two National Scenarios exercises and who supported SGTogether and Forward Singapore. Before that, he lived for over ten years in the US doing research and teaching, and received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis, specializing in evolution and the objectivity of moral norms.

Anu
Anu is an associate trainer and facilitator with the Singapore Civil Service College (CSC). She was in the Public Service for more than 10 years and has worked with several senior public sector leaders. Her area of focus is on the relevance and application of complexity science to public policy, leadership and organisational development. The key question which interests her is how the Public Service can manage and respond to complexity better. Anu is also an executive coach and aspires executives to take the next step in their career and life. Anu was a lead strategist and facilitator with the Strategic Policy Office in the Public Service Division, Singapore. As a facilitator, Anu designed and conducted scenario planning workshops for middle and senior public officers from public sector agencies.Need help? We are glad to help you
