Programme Overview
The Senior Management Programme (SMP) is a 6-week full-time milestone programme that aims to prepare individuals for leadership positions in the public sector. It is designed for experienced Directors in the Superscale grade with the potential to take on senior leadership positions in the Public Service.
Learning Outcomes
- Develop greater awareness and shared ownership of Public Service and national issues;
- Grow your capability to lead self and influence others within a complex system;
- Grow your ability to dialogue, debate and collaborate across diverse cross-sector interests and perspectives;
- Cultivate a leadership community for effective WOG collaboration; and
- Evaluate how you uphold, through actions, the core values of the Public Service; and lead your department to demonstrate the values.
