When harnessed right, Excel would allow you to do that and more. Sign up for this programme today and you will learn not only how to apply fundamental predictive analysis techniques to data using tools that already exist in Excel, you will also learn techniques like time series and advanced forecasting, and linear and logistic regression.

Learning Outcomes
  • Demonstrate the ability to forecast time series using different methods like moving averages and exponential smoothing
  • Describe advanced forecasting techniques (e.g. Holt Winters model) for time series with seasonality and trend
  • Apply and make predictions (of numbers) using the regression tool in Excel
  • Explain how logistic regression can be used to predict classes (or categories)
Last updated: 25 Mar 2025
