Remark:
This programme is a pre-requisite for MSGCOD - Graduate Certificate in Organisation Development.
Fees: $1,918.40 per participant (inclusive of GST).
Public Service Division offers a 30% subsidy for Public Service officers who have completed the programme. As a result, Ministries and Statutory Boards will only need to pay $1,390.40 (inclusive of GST) per participant.
Absentees will be charged the full fee.
Who Should Attend:
You are an OD practitioner who is interested to learn the definition and practices of OD, the OD cycle and the role of OD practitioners in organisations. This programme is also recommended for officers involved in the Public Service Transformation (PST), Organisational Excellence (OE) and organisational change.
Programme Fees and Grants
PSD will subsidise $528.00 of the total programme fee before GST. The grant is valid from 01 Apr 2024 to 31 Mar 2025. Please note that you need to complete the programme in order to qualify for the grant.
Programme Overview
Organisation Development (OD) is an increasingly influential field of practice in the Singapore Public Service - one that is employed to support organisational transformation, manage complex change, and enhance organisational performance, while ensuring that employees stay engaged in the process.
If you have just joined the OD function and
would like to learn more about how you, as an OD practitioner, can contribute to your
organisation's health and effectiveness, this is the programme for you.
In this updated
version of the OD Practitioner Foundation Programme, you will gain an overview
of the OD practice field, its history, and how it has evolved in the Singapore
Public Service. You will undergo a unique, immersive experiential exercise, and learn a proven
methodology that enables you to make sense of the complexities of
organisational behaviour and the actions you can take to make a significant
impact. The programme also provides you with the opportunity to build valuable
networks and friendships with fellow OD practitioners from various Public
Service organisations.

- 10th to 12th July 2024
- 25th to 27th September 2024
- 22nd to 24th January 2025

Methodology
This 3-day programme will comprise both theory and practice. Participants will learn by doing, undergoing experiential activities and through self-discovery. There will be many opportunities for participants to learn from one another through the sharing of OD initiatives in their organisations and facilitated discussions.
