Programme Overview
Emotional intelligence helps people to understand themselves well, so as to better relate to and connect with others. A person who is self-aware, socially-adapt and empathetic can survive and thrive well through challenging times because they have the social and relational skills to handle the difficult situations.
Being empathetic to others also has a positive impact on our own emotional adjustment – we feel needed and become more confident about what we can offer to others, and we become stronger and more resilient in the process.
